Meet Dr. Liza King

Liza King, DMD

I began practicing general dentistry in Connecticut five years ago and am excited to begin a new chapter of my life and career here in Dover. The patients are truly what make dentistry such a wonderful career. I find it interesting and rewarding to interact with different people every day and feel as though I can make a positive change in their lives by improving their oral health. Dentistry has offered me a great opportunity to know my patients on a personal level and truly feel a part of the community.

It is incredibly satisfying to see a person smile in the mirror after having aesthetic dentistry completed, or even better, to have an anxious patient leave an appointment no longer afraid of the dentist. Those are the moments that make coming to work each day so fulfilling. I have enjoyed the relationships I have made with patients over the past few years and hope to find the same connections here in New Hampshire for many years to come.

Education and Continuing Education

  • Undergraduate Degree – University of Connecticut-Storrs
  • Doctorate of Dental Medicine – University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine
  • Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residence – University of Connecticut Health Center

I believe it’s imperative to stay current with patient care, including new techniques, technologies, and dental materials. I have continued my education through the Connecticut Continuing Education Series, a monthly series of courses with a broad range of topics including implant restoration, endodontics, aesthetic restorative dentistry, and more. I have also attended the York Dental Laboratory Smooth Sailing Study Club Implant Course, a year-long treatment planning course teaching implant restoration in collaboration with surgeons.

Outside the Office

I grew up in coastal Connecticut. My husband and I relocated to the Seacoast this summer and are looking forward to enjoying everything New Hampshire has to offer, from skiing and hiking to spending time at the beach! As a new New Hampshire resident, I am also excited and looking forward to becoming an active member of the local community
